Ayumu Iwasa set to make F1 practice debut in Japan

Crimson Bull-backed junior driver Ayumu Iwasa will make his F1 debut at subsequent weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, taking on Daniel Ricciardo’s automobile within the opening one-hour session.

Iwasa started racing competitively in 2014, and made his debut within the Japanese F4 Championship three years later. In 2020, he moved over to Europe to race within the French F4 collection, and received 9 races en path to profitable the title.
